Macular corneal dystrophy is an autosomal recessive stromal corneal dystrophy that is relatively common in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This condition is characterized by opacities in the cornea with intervening stromal haze. The condition can recur in corneal grafts. In the video, excellent clarity of the central cornea can be seen approximately seven months after the procedure.
